1. Media Processing & Data Lifecycle
AITranscribe provides two transcription execution modes:
- Engine A (In-Browser Whisper): Operates entirely inside your browser WebAssembly sandbox. Audio frames are decoded using Web Audio API and evaluated in device RAM. Zero bytes of media data leave your computer.
- Engine B (Cloudflare Workers AI): Audio is streamed via secure HTTPS to serverless workers. Speech recognition is performed in-memory, the transcript is returned, and the audio stream is instantly deleted from runtime memory.
2. What We Do Not Collect or Store
We do not maintain user databases, persistent file storage buckets, or public archives of transcripts. Furthermore, we do not harvest social platform tokens, and do not track users across websites.
3. Web Analytics
We may collect non-identifiable, aggregated technical metrics (such as page views, browser type, and country-level location) through privacy-preserving telemetry like Cloudflare Web Analytics. This service does not utilize client cookies or track users across external sites.
4. Copyright and Contact
Users are instructed to only process media they own or have legal authorization to transcribe. For any privacy or copyright inquiries, contact our team via the on-site Support button or visit our contact page.
